Comprehensive Finance, Inc. (CFI), a fast-growing financial technology company offering payment solutions for healthcare providers, today announced the hiring of Ryan Mullin as company controller.
A Certified Public Accountant with more than a decade of experience, Mullin has held controller and senior accounting positions at two mid-sized hedge funds with peak assets under management in excess of $2 billion.
“Ryan is a vital addition to our team and an integral part of our exciting plans for continued company growth,” said CFI CEO Michael D. Brown. “We remain committed to expanding and fulfilling our company’s mission of revolutionizing payment processing for healthcare providers while providing patients unparalleled access to high quality care.”
This announcement comes on the heels of CFI’s inclusion on the Inc. 5000 and recent launch of its new accounts receivable solution – Abella – which provides a private and convenient means for patients to pay their balance online and dental practices and other healthcare providers to advance operational efficiency, significantly improve payment rates and enhance the patient experience, while reducing time and costs associated with accounts receivable.
Earlier this month, CFI also announced the launch of its third business line – a white label version of its best-in-class software platform solutions. Setting the stage for long-term revenue growth, CFI has entered into a multi-year partnership with a leading provider of financial services in healthcare. This new partnership allows CFI to expand its reach into the healthcare market and expand on its goal of helping others and addressing affordability concerns in other segments with its white label platform.
Prior to joining CFI, Mullin held the role of controller at Caymus Capital Partners. Before this, he was a senior accountant at Hayman Capital Management. Mullin began his career working in public accounting where he served in staff and senior roles in annual audits of various public companies in the banking and real estate industries.
Mullin received his Master of Science and Bachelor of Business Administration in Accounting from Texas A&M University.
